My Exercise blog for 2010

Today I created this blog format to document weekly my exercise efforts in trying to achieve my goal of losing 20 pounds this year.So today I brought in my mountain bike and attached it to my roller stand to get started. In this blog I will post updates on my progress as far as any weight loss as well as how many times and the duration of the work outs on the bike stand.I will also work into the equation some other types of exercise to go along with this type of low impact aerobics. Then in the spring I will take the bike on the trails when ever the weather permits. This past fall I was starting to get back into riding again and I even documented one ride when the fall season was at it's peek even though part of the pictures were taken while just walking with my wife Cheryl at Dawes.

With seizure activity still prevailing even though it was infrequent I didn't get to do much exercising I am just getting re-started the last three weeks. So this portion of the blog will be used to document my weight as a way for me to not only continue through out this fall but also to continue by using my roller stand this winter.I am 6 feet three plus and as of August 23rd I weigh in at 237 pounds.

1.Monday August 23rd 237 pounds.

My next weigh in will not be until Jan 1st of 2011.

It was a great day in September 2010.I took a ride to Johnstown,Oh and documented a few pictures.I am starting to feel a lot better as I haven't had a seizure since May of this year.
There were lots of rides that followed this ride such as going the back way to pick up the Black Hand Bike trial at the brushy fork road entrance which is the ending point actually.I have taken a few rides down to Hanover and also fairly close to Flint Ridge.I usually mix in much shorter rides of only 5 to 15 also and sometimes just get out for a short ride around town.My last two rides were first to Johnstown,Oh October 11th and then I took my first ride Tuesday October 12th with the LCBC members on the breakfast ride to Hanover.Four of us stopped and ate in Hanover while the rest of the members rode down to Frazeysburg .
